As a violinist, conductor, chamber musician, and teacher, but also as a program and festival curator, he mediates between old and new, between composers and listeners. He cogently combines traditional qualities of music making with contemporary playing techniques and sound possibilities, and using new music education methods, he seeks to expand our traditional listening habits to include things yet “unheard” ...
